My Story
My name is César, and I’ve been surfing for over 20 years. I’m a passionate longboarder and surf coach, born and raised in Huanchaco, one of Peru’s most iconic surf towns.

Surfing has always been a central part of my life, and for many years I dreamed of creating a surf house in a world-class surf destination where people could improve their surfing while experiencing real Peruvian coastal life. With the help of travellers and volunteers, that dream became reality when we built Ola Surf House — a small, family-style project based on community, cultural exchange, and a shared love of the ocean. There are no paid staff here; everything is done together, including myself, creating a relaxed and personal environment.

Today we focus on helping guests improve their surfing, especially longboarding, while sharing local knowledge, surf trips, and the simple rhythm of life in Huanchaco. My goal is for every guest to leave not only as a better surfer, but with a deeper connection to Peru, the ocean, and the people they meet along the way.
